Hickory Museum of Art’s 13th Annual Autolawn Euro Classic Car Show

Hickory Museum of Art’s 13th Annual Autolawn Euro Classic Car Show returns to the SALT Block North Lawn in Hickory, NC, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Autolawn is an outdoor celebration of the automobile and the many ways it has shaped our journeys, culture, and memories.

Limited to just 75 entrants, the Autolawn European Classic Car Show offers a unique, intimate experience featuring a diverse collection of high-quality, original vehicles. Unlike traditional concours events, Autolawn creates a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where enthusiasts can enjoy these exceptional automobiles without the pressure of a formal competition.

This Year’s Theme: Roll Out the Red Carpet

In celebration of Hickory Museum of Art’s reopening and its newest exhibition, this year’s theme is “Roll Out the Red Carpet.” Registered drivers are encouraged to dress in the era represented by their vehicle. Whether it’s poodle skirts, bell-bottoms, Members Only jackets, or another nostalgic look, costumes are completely optional—but always a fun part of the festivities.

Driver check-in takes place from 8 to 10 a.m.

The event is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and admission for spectators is free. Guests can also cast their vote for their favorite classic car. Proceeds from the event support the Museum’s educational programming.

Autolawn is more than a classic car show. Whether you’re a lifelong automobile enthusiast or simply looking for a fun Saturday outing, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
