Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Foothills will be having their ribbon cutting on Wednesday March 14th at 4pm. It will celebrate the launch of our new brand and 13 years of business.

Our company was founded in 2010 by Mike and Kathleen Kelly. For 12 years the company was known as Hickory Real Estate Group and had grown to over 30 agents.

In December 2022, after a lot of soul searching and research, they decided that the best way to continue to grow their business was to become the owners of a local Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate franchise and that is how they became Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Foothills.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Foothills is pleased to announce that Caitlin Burns has joined its firm as a REALTOR®/Broker.

Caitlin is originally from Connecticut but is an “honorary” North Carolinian, graduating from UNCG and having lived here now for 20 years. She and her family moved from the mountains to Conover three years ago, where they bought their first home. Caitlin’s husband, Daren, grew up in Catawba County and they knew it would be a wonderful place to raise their two young boys. In her spare time Caitlin enjoys spending time with friends and family, their two Great Pyrenees and pet cat, and cheering on her boys in soccer, baseball, and wrestling.

After ten years in banking, real estate is a new journey for Caitlin, and she is excited to be joining Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Foothills. Having purchased their first home not long ago, Caitlin understands that buying or selling a home can be overwhelming at times. She is passionate about connecting with and building relationships with clients to guide and support them through the entire process to make it a positive experience.

It is an organization 250 people strong that get together quite often and make the most out of living here.
